Lead with what sells, or with what's new
Lead with the products that already sell, or with what just came in, so returning shoppers see something new.
The problem
New shoppers decide quickly, so the products they see first should be the ones most likely to sell. Returning shoppers want to see what changed since their last visit. WooCommerce's default ordering does neither unless you set it up product by product.
Smart Sort orders a whole shop or category by sales or by date in one click, using WooCommerce's own sales data, and you can still adjust individual products afterwards.
How to do it
Pick the page to sort
Choose the main shop page or a single category in Rearrange Products.
Apply a Smart Sort rule
Choose "Best Selling" to order by sales from the WooCommerce lookup tables, or "Latest" to put new arrivals first.
Fine-tune by hand
Drag a product up or down if you want to feature something the numbers don't show yet, such as a new product you expect to do well.
Save it as a preset
Save the result so you can re-apply it after your next stock delivery or compare it with another order later.
Try "Best Selling" on the main shop and "Latest" on a New Arrivals category. Each category keeps its own order.

More use cases
Seasonal and holiday collections
Put the summer range, the gift picks or the sale items at the front for as long as the season lasts, then let the shop switch back on its own.
In-stock products first
Keep sold-out products from taking the top rows of your shop and category pages.
Multilingual stores with WPML
Arrange your products once and every translated version of the shop follows the same order.
